71 pupils and 4 teachers in Malta ..... 18th – 25th October 2009 ..... Last month 4A, 4C and 4E attended a language course in Malta. In the mornings the students had their lessons with native speakers in five different groups.
During the lunch breaks they were allowed to use the outdoor swimming pool which most of them enjoyed very much due to the lovely weather.
Although the programme was really tight there was still enough time for exploring the island and the beautiful beaches. Among many other sights we visited the famous St. John’s Cathedral in Valetta, the old capital of Malta – Mdina, the Blue Grotto, the Azure Window on Gozo, and the Blue Lagoon on Comino.
Another highlight was the visit to the glass factory in a crafts village.
The trip to Malta was a great experience for our students and a great chance to use and improve their English.
