European Youth Parliament - National Session Vienna (May 2015)

eypOn the first of May, our Delegation consisting of Lukas Frank (7C), Sophie Kapiotis, Lena Lindner and Katharina Scheitz (all 7B) headed for Vienna to attend the EYP Austria's National Selection Conference. Since our Delegation was selected at the Regional Session in Tulln to attend the National Session, we were all really excited to be part of this even bigger event. And we weren't disappointed: our committes dealt with topics like food politics or austerity policy in the EU. In the General Assembly which took place in the House of the European Union in the First District in Vienna, all Delegates discussed and in the end voted either in favour or against a topic.

Vienna 2015 was, again, an enriching experience for all four of us. We met new people from all over Europe and got a feeling of how European politics work. Special thanks also go to Anna-Lena Szumowski and Matthias Klonner, both former students of our school, who worked in the organizing team and helped making the Session so amazing!

LATEST NEWS: Due to our outstanding performance during the National Conference we were chosen to participate in the European Conference which will take place in Leipzig/Germany or Finland!
